Jonathan De Guzman II is a Filipino American director and writer from San Diego, currently in Los Angeles. Using gen-z humor and style, Jonathan aims to bring relatability to his AANHPI community. His work has screened at festivals including Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, National Film Festival of Talented Youth and Asian American International Film Festival. He was awarded Best Picture and Best Screenplay of 2021 from the University of California, Irvine. Outside of narrative, he’s directed music videos for artists such as GIOVANNA, Trevor Spitta, and [seb]; as well as styled for clients such as Depop.
